_____TIM NOLAS is a curatorial project run by Cornelia Lein.

Cornelia Lein is an artist, curator and writer based in Vienna, Austria. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, a vancant space fell into her lap and in 2015 _____TIM NOLAS was born. The project explores the boundaries of curatorial and artistic work in the format of thematic group exhibitions. (Yes, it’s still a thing.)

_____TIM NOLAS (read backwards…) arose from the desire to enter into a discursive dialogue with other artists and to refer to societal developments. The project emphasizes sustainable cooperation and feminist values in the art field. Through the format of curatorial footnotes - models, booklets, objects, … - the narrative of the exhibition expands and the position of artist and curator is reflected.

 _____TIM NOLAS is currently run in a nomadic format and is open for collaboration.
